Quantity Surveyor (Hotel Interior Fit-Out)

Job Description Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for hotel interior fit-out and renovation projects. Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare cost comparisons and recommend cost-effective solutions. Manage project costs, monitor budgets, and track variations throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare progress claims, payment certifications, and final accounts. Administer subcontractor contracts, including payment assessments and variation orders. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients on commercial matters. Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation. Support procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and subcontractor services. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for interior fit-out, hotel renovation, or commercial construction projects. Experience in cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, variation claims, and final accounts. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Good knowledge of construction materials, fit-out works, and market pricing. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, Cubit, or other quantity surveying software is an advantage. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Experience in luxury hotel, hospitality, or high-end interior fit-out projects will be an advantage.
