Public Relations Officer

Job Summary You will lead stakeholder engagement and communication efforts for a major cable transmission infrastructure project, managing permits, public feedback, and coordination with authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth project delivery. Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between the project team, government agencies, and the public to facilitate effective communication and collaboration Manage permits, approvals, and coordinate with relevant authorities such as LTA, PUB, and SP Group to ensure project compliance Handle public feedback, complaints, and enquiries related to construction activities to maintain positive community relations Coordinate traffic diversions, road closures, and public notifications to minimise disruption and ensure public safety Prepare and distribute public notices, letters, and communication materials to inform stakeholders and the public Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to support project objectives Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and project conditions through diligent monitoring and reporting Support crisis communication and issue management to address urgent matters effectively and maintain project reputation Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagement and communication activities for transparency and accountability Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field 3–6 years of experience in public relations, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects Familiarity with local authorities and regulatory processes in Singapore Proficient in MS Office applications Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by managing public feedback and stakeholder relationships Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts professionally in a construction project context Good organisational and coordination skills applied to managing permits, traffic diversions, and communication materials Why Join Us Be part of a major cable transmission infrastructure project Opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and government agencies Dynamic and fast-paced project environment Career growth within the construction and infrastructure sector Interested applicants, can send resume to evonong@davyomega.com
