Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are partnering with a well-established organisation to hire a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security solutions while ensuring the organisation's IT infrastructure remains secure and resilient. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions across areas such as network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and security monitoring. Lead the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures to minimise security risks. Manage vulnerability assessments, security patching, and system hardening activities to maintain a strong security posture. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams, as well as external technology vendors, to deploy security controls, troubleshoot issues, and support security projects. Evaluate new cybersecurity technologies through proof-of-concept (POC) exercises, maintain security documentation, support security audits, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall cybersecurity environment. Requirements: At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or enterprise IT security, with hands-on experience across one or more domains such as network security, endpoint security, IAM, or security operations. Strong understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, security best practices, and enterprise security technologies. Good communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and technology vendors.
