Manager - Investment Analyst

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide analytical and research support for Asia equity strategies. Support coverage across Asian markets, including India, Korea, Greater China, ASEAN, and Australia. Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support investment decisions. Monitor and review existing portfolio holdings, ensuring timely updates and actionable insights. Generate new research ideas. Draft comprehensive research reports and present to broader investment teams. Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts across sectors and geographies to facilitate channel checks and new ideas generation. Prepare marketing presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders. Participate in and contribute to marketing efforts of the firm as needed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Manager 5-7 years of relevant experience. Prior equity research experience in sell-side or buy-side. Willing to be a generalist, covering a wide range of stocks across different countries and sectors. Previous experience of covering Indian stocks would be a plus. Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethic, and drive for excellence. Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and valuation modelling. Ability to interpret macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics for market research. Skilled in Bloomberg and Excel (including advanced functions). Expertise in creating impactful reports and presentations using PowerPoint and data visualisation tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of compliance requirements and investment guidelines. Exposure to ESG analysis and data-driven research techniques (AI/quant tools) is a plus. Collaborative team player, receptive to feedback and able to provide constructive input. Entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking new investment ideas and opportunities. Experience covering India and/or Korea would be a plus. Not required, but language proficiency in Chinese or Korean also a plus.
