Safety Coordinator

Job Description & Requirements We are seeking a diligent and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team . The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in all projects. Key Responsibilities: Safety Program Development: Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols to Telcom , Construction and Renewable Energy installation and maintenance activities. Compliance: Ensure work sites are compliance with MOM’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and Code of Practices (CPs), including OSHA standards and industry best practices. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to identify potential hazards and implement risk control measures. Training: Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and site personnel to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols. Incident Investigation: Investigate work site accidents, injuries, dangerous occurrences and near misses; perform root causes analysis and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess safety performance, identify hazards, and ensure adherence to safety standards of subcontractors and site personnel. Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and procedures including evacuation plans and first aid protocols. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation. Promotion of Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture through communication, training, and recognition programs. Collaboration with Different Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
