Job Description & Requirements A Business Development Manager (BDM) in News paper and Logistics service Company drives company growth by finding new opportunities, building client relationships, and developing strategies for market expansion, involving market research, lead generation, sales presentations, negotiation, and collaborating with sales/marketing to secure profitable deals and achieve revenue goals . Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute business growth strategies, create plans for new markets, and identify opportunities to improve products/services. Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts to spot gaps and growth areas. Lead Generation & Sales: Research prospective clients, pursue leads, arrange meetings, and deliver compelling sales presentations. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms and close deals to secure profitable partnerships. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align goals and meet client needs. Reporting: Develop reports on new revenue streams, business performance, and market opportunities. Responsibilities Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs Arrange business meetings with prospective clients Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople Requirements and skills Proven working experience as a business development, sales executive or a relevant role Proven sales track record Experience in customer support is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Proficiency in English Market knowledge Communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport Time management and planning skills Need to work Night shift
