About the Role In this role, you will be a core member of a small but effective integrated regional team that will help HARMAN build and grow Asia Pacific’s digital ecosystem. We are looking for a talented Digital and eCommerce Specialist to join our team and spearhead our 3Pstrategies for continued growth and success. You will need to have a deep understanding of the key marketplace platforms (including but not limited to Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, TikTok Shop and other partner e-retailers)and trends in the APAC region. You will also be responsible for developing and seeing through the execution of all countries’ Digital Marketing and eCommerce strategies through our partners. The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing and data analysis. An understanding between the impact of D2C and Indirect Channels would be a plus, and how to navigate through in balancing a negotiation between offline retail and ecommerce. This role would also include managing product listings, developing and executing marketing campaigns and tracking performance for selected markets. Your Team You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Digital & E-Commerce, and this is an independent contributor role managing JBL and Harman Kardon across Asia Pacific. You will also be working collaboratively with in-country digital & ecommerce leads to drive strategic thinking and KPI measurements. For leadership-level candidates, this role involves a shared reporting line to manage. What You Will Do Deliver Business Objectives · Drive sell-thru and engagement, through ongoing improvements and optimization, with a focus on guided selling, product and pricing and content strategy with key country leads and distributors. · Strengthen business partnerships with distributor and key marketplace and retailers to drive strategic and tactical ecomm initiatives. · Analyse data and leverage insights to lead annual ecomm sales planning with local markets and distributors to build indirect Ecomm strategic growth pillars. · Plan and deliver marketing agenda/activities and sales promotional activities for these markets across all indirect ecomm channels. · Drive the expansion of online channel development that is beyond the current partner listings. · Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid advertising, SEO, social media, community, influencer marketing and PR to drive indirect ecomm sales. This would include managing agency relationships. · Understand campaign behaviours and long-term trends, identify new levers to help move metrics. · Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure a seamless and cohesive online customer experience on key indirect 3Pplatforms. Data Analysis · Regular analysis of marketplace data, sales performance, traffic patterns and customer behaviour to identify new growth opportunities to optimise product assortments and pricing strategies. · Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing strategies and promotions to formulate competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability and marketshare. · Monitor competitor activities and industry developments in APAC markets for opportunities to drive marketplace growth. · Forecast and set campaign goals, design and evaluate tests, monitor key metrics, understand root causes of changes in metrics. · Provide reporting and analysis of key KPIs, keeping stakeholders and leadership informed of performance. · Monitoring of key e-commerce metrics of digital campaigns implemented (Sale, conversion rates, CPA, website traffic, CLV, click-through, etc ) to enhance efficiency and maximize sales potential. · Generate reports and performance metrics to track success of marketplace initiatives, and presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders. What You Need · Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, eCommerce or related field. · Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving marketplace growth. · Proven experience in 3rd marketplace platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, TikTok Shop, their algorithms, and best practices to drive sales. · Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging marketplace technologies to develop new ideas and strategies. · An understanding between D2C and Indirect Channels would be a plus; with a strong know-how in navigating through balancing a negotiation between offline retail and ecommerce. · Analytical mindset wit…
