About the Role We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Operations Supervisor to oversee warehouse inventory operations while leading a team to ensure inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position is well suited for professionals with experience in contract logistics who have strong knowledge of inventory control, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and operational reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, supervising warehouse activities, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational targets are achieved. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse and inventory operations to ensure stock movements are processed accurately and efficiently. Lead and support a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance monitoring. Oversee inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, inventory adjustments, and discrepancy investigations. Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurring issues. Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures. Coordinate stock audits, inventory reporting, and reconciliation activities to maintain high levels of inventory integrity. Prepare operational and inventory reports, analyse trends, and provide recommendations to improve warehouse performance. Support warehouse system enhancements, operational changes, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance. Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues and improve service delivery. Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards. Perform other responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements Essential Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, contract logistics, or operational supervision. Previous experience supervising warehouse teams within a logistics environment. Strong understanding of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations. Hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and reporting functions. Experience preparing inventory reports, KPI dashboards, and operational analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities. Preferred Experience supporting warehouse system implementations or operational enhancement projects. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with inventory audit processes and warehouse compliance requirements. Experience within a third-party logistics (3PL) or contract logistics environment is advantageous.
