About the Role We are hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities and lead a team in delivering efficient, safe, and accurate logistics operations. This role is ideal for experienced warehouse professionals who have a strong background in contract logistics, people management, and operational excellence. As part of the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, monitoring productivity, ensuring inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business and customer objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring all inbound, storage, value-added, and outbound activities are completed efficiently and accurately. Manage, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals while promoting a positive and productive work environment. Plan manpower deployment and allocate resources effectively to meet daily workload requirements. Monitor operational performance and ensure service levels, productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Ensure inventory accuracy by overseeing stock movement, reconciliation activities, and timely resolution of inventory discrepancies. Maintain compliance with warehouse procedures, workplace safety standards, and housekeeping requirements. Investigate operational issues and implement practical solutions to improve workflow efficiency and service quality. Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and support smooth day-to-day operations. Review operational performance data and prepare reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reduce operational inefficiencies, and optimise resource utilisation. Support the implementation of new operational initiatives, process enhancements, and automation projects where required. Carry out additional responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements Essential Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a contract logistics or third-party logistics (3PL) environment. Proven experience supervising and leading warehouse teams, including managing teams of 15 or more employees. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operational reporting. Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to operational challenges. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and customer service. Preferred Experience participating in warehouse process improvement or operational excellence initiatives. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Exposure to warehouse automation, productivity improvement, or inventory optimisation projects. Experience preparing operational reports and analysing KPIs to support business improvements.
