Truck Mechanic

Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools Repair and replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, and steering components Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring, and electronic control modules Conduct engine overhauls and component rebuilds when required Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards Perform road tests to verify repairs and proper functioning Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly maintained Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment Requirements Proven experience repairing trucks or heavy-duty vehicles Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
