[AY2027/28 Internship] Media, Strategy & Communications Intern

Objectives of Internship – From digital to event management, the internship enables the candidate to be equipped with the real-life, practical skills required for work in the corporate communications industry. Description of Role and Responsibilities – Main Tasks: Develop media, communications presence and render administrative support. Task Elements Feedback management • Collate, reply, and direct emails from members of the public to the relevant agencies and internal stakeholders • Review and propose improvements to feedback management processes Website management • Update the Istana website with information including speeches and photos • Work with stakeholders to update website layout where required Events and multimedia management • Support the Media, Strategy and Communications team at events • Camera, lighting and sound set-up • Ideate and execute social media content where required • Record and edit videos and audio where required Administrative support • Collate and manage RSVPs • Media monitoring Requirement • Singaporean only. • This internship is on a full-time basis from Mar/Apr 2027 to Aug 2027. Knowledge, Skills & Attitude Knowledge • Experience in shooting and editing videos preferred but not essential • Experience with website management preferred but not essential Skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills Attitude • Willingness to work on evenings and weekends • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated maturity in handling stakeholders, with an eye for detail
