Structural Steel Detailer/Draftsman

Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to prepare technical drawings and secure submission approvals Generate accurate material take-offs to support project planning and procurement Develop detailed shop fabrication drawings for structural steel works to guide manufacturing Create cutting plans to optimize material procurement and minimize waste Produce additional drawings and support fabrication and installation activities as required by QA/QC teams and Engineers Manage ad-hoc duties including coordination of related site matters to ensure project continuity Required competencies and certifications Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in metal and steel structural drafting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and BIM software Preferred competencies and qualifications Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) – Structural Steel Engineer (StEr) certification (advantageous)
