Job Summary A Beauty Salon Manager oversees daily salon operations to ensure excellent customer service, efficient business performance, and compliance with policies and regulations. This role leads staff management, drives sales, maintains service quality, and fosters a positive work environment. Responsibilities Operations Management Manage daily salon operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence Schedule appointments and deploy staff to optimize service delivery Monitor and maintain high standards of service quality and customer experience Enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety standards consistently Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements Customer Service Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly Develop and implement customer retention and loyalty programs to enhance repeat business Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels through service excellence Sales and Business Development Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets through strategic planning Develop and execute sales strategies and promotional campaigns to increase revenue Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance Upsell products and treatment packages to maximize sales opportunities Analyze sales reports to identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities Staff Leadership Recruit, train, and supervise beauty consultants and therapists to build a skilled team Conduct performance appraisals and coaching sessions to develop staff competencies Motivate employees to meet individual and team targets through effective leadership Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement Financial Management Manage inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment Ensure accurate cash handling and prepare sales reports for financial tracking Compliance and Risk Management Enforce company standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently Maintain customer confidentiality and proper documentation practices Comply with employment, health, and workplace safety regulations to mitigate risks Preferred competencies and qualifications WSQ or recognized qualifications in Beauty Therapy or Spa Management 3–5 years’ experience in beauty, spa, or wellness operations At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role Experience managing sales targets and operational KPIs Knowledge of beauty and aesthetic treatments, salon operations, sales and marketing principles, inventory and financial management, employment and workplace safety regulations, and customer relationship management
