Job Summary A Therapist (Beauty & Wellness) provides professional body, wellness, and complementary therapy treatments to improve clients' physical well-being, relaxation, and overall wellness. The Therapist conducts client consultations, assesses individual needs, recommends appropriate treatments, performs treatments safely and effectively, maintains high standards of hygiene, and delivers excellent customer service. The role also involves promoting wellness products and services, maintaining treatment records, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and organisational policies. Responsibilities Establish professional rapport with clients to facilitate effective consultations Conduct pre-treatment consultations to assess clients’ health history, lifestyle, and wellness goals for tailored treatment plans Evaluate clients’ physical condition to determine treatment suitability and safety Clearly explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care to clients Obtain informed consent prior to commencing treatments Perform body and wellness therapies using appropriate techniques aligned with treatment protocols Adjust treatment methods based on client comfort and response during sessions Monitor clients’ condition throughout treatment to ensure safety and effectiveness Provide clients with post-treatment advice and wellness recommendations to support ongoing care Deliver professional, personalized customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention Respond promptly and effectively to client enquiries and concerns Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through quality service delivery Encourage repeat visits by consistently providing excellent service experiences Handle customer feedback with professionalism and responsiveness Recommend suitable wellness products and treatment programs based on client needs Educate clients on product benefits and home care practices to support wellness goals Promote retail products and membership packages to achieve sales targets Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment before and after sessions Follow infection prevention and workplace safety procedures rigorously Report equipment faults or safety hazards promptly to maintain a safe environment Accurately document treatment details and update client progress notes while maintaining confidentiality Assist with appointment scheduling and monitor product inventory levels as needed Participate in technical and product training to stay current with industry developments and new techniques Engage in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality Comply with organisational policies, standard operating procedures, and ethical standards Required competencies and certifications Certificate, WSQ, ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, Wellness Therapy, or related discipline Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of relevant therapy experience Other Information N/A
