Job Description A Beautician provides professional beauty treatments and personalised skincare services to enhance clients' appearance, well-being and confidence. The Beautician assesses clients' skin conditions and beauty needs, recommends suitable treatments and products, performs beauty services safely and hygienically, and delivers excellent customer service. The role also includes promoting retail products and treatment packages, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, and complying with workplace safety and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Client Consultation Welcome clients professionally and establish rapport. Conduct client consultation to understand beauty concerns, treatment goals and medical history. Perform basic skin analysis and recommend suitable treatments and skincare products. Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes and aftercare advice. Beauty Treatments Perform facial treatments according to established treatment protocols. Carry out facial cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage and mask application. Provide basic hand and foot care treatments where applicable. Operate beauty equipment safely and according to manufacturer instructions. Monitor clients' comfort and well-being throughout the treatment. Customer Service Deliver excellent customer service before, during and after treatments. Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally. Build long-term customer relationships. Follow up with clients on treatment progress and appointments. Sales and Retail Recommend appropriate skincare products and treatment packages. Promote ongoing promotions and membership programmes. Achieve individual sales and service performance targets. Maintain accurate treatment and customer records. Hygiene and Safety Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and workstations. Sterilise and disinfect tools and equipment before and after use. Adhere to infection prevention and workplace safety procedures. Dispose of waste according to hygiene standards. Administration Record treatment details accurately. Manage appointment schedules when required. Monitor treatment product usage and report low stock. Assist with stock replenishment and inventory control. Professional Development Attend product knowledge and skills training. Keep updated with new beauty techniques and industry trends. Comply with company policies, SOPs and ethical standards. Job Requirements Education WSQ or recognised beauty qualifications are preferred. Experience Minimum 1 years of relevant beauty treatment experience (preferred).
