About this role

Job Purpose The Dormitory Administrator is responsible for supporting the daily administration and smooth operation of worker accommodation facilities. The role ensures accurate resident records, effective accommodation management, compliance with applicable dormitory regulations and company policies, and a safe, clean, and conducive living environment for residents. The incumbent will work closely with residents, internal stakeholders, and service providers to support operational efficiency and resident well-being. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day administration and operation of the dormitory. Maintain accurate resident registration, occupancy, and accommodation records. Coordinate room allocation, check-in, and check-out arrangements. Update and maintain dormitory records, reports, inventories, and asset documentation. Assist in the implementation and communication of dormitory house rules. Support regular room inspections and monitor general housekeeping standards. Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers on maintenance and facility-related matters. Assist in monitoring compliance with dormitory regulations, workplace safety requirements, and emergency preparedness procedures. Support the maintenance of cleanliness, hygiene, and safe living conditions within the accommodation facilities. Attend to residents' enquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and respectful manner. Requirements Minimum GCE N-Level, GCE O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training and guidance will be provided to suitable candidates. Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce and stakeholders. Responsible, reliable, and able to exercise good judgment when handling resident matters. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Experience in dormitory administration, accommodation services, facilities management, estate management, property management, or related operational roles will be an advantage. Familiarity with migrant worker accommodation operations is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of the Foreign Employee Dormitories Act (FEDA), MOM accommodation requirements, workplace safety practices, and fire safety procedures will be an advantage. Experience maintaining occupancy records, room allocation records, inventories, and asset registers is beneficial. Additional language skills may be useful when communicating with residents from diverse backgrounds but are not mandatory.
