Quality Engineer (Automotive, Degree, Open To Entry Level)

Primary Job Purpose: Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems to ensure products consistently meet customer and industry standards. Analyze product and process performance, identify quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective improvement solutions. Learn and apply quality engineering tools and methodologies to solve manufacturing challenges and enhance product reliability. Participate in system and process audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality requirements. Assist in driving preventive quality initiatives to minimize defects and improve overall manufacturing performance. Coordinate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to investigate non-conforming materials and support timely resolution. Monitor production quality metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvement actions to achieve higher First Pass Yield and product quality. Investigate customer quality concerns and returns, perform root cause analysis, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring quality objectives and performance targets are consistently achieved. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline. Open for entry level, training will be provided. Candidates with internship or project experience in semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments will have an added advantage. Exposure to quality engineering methodologies, such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, or quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), is a plus—but not essential.
