Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, manage kitchen operations, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards to deliver excellent dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following menu requirements to ensure consistent quality and taste Plan menus and develop new recipes to enhance the culinary offerings Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation to meet company standards Organize and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen to support efficient operations and hygiene Monitor inventory levels and order supplies timely to prevent shortages and control costs Supervise and train kitchen staff to improve skills and maintain team performance Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including NEA standards, to guarantee safe food handling Manage food costs and minimize wastage to optimize kitchen profitability Adapt to working in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands effectively Lead and manage kitchen teams to foster collaboration and productivity Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support operational needs Preferred competencies and qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or Cook demonstrating culinary skills and kitchen management Knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines to diversify menu options Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards to maintain compliance
