Accounting Officer

This is a 3 months contract role. Fresh graduates are welcome too. Job Responsibilities : · To prepare MAS daily regulatory compliance reports and other regulatory reports, such as MAS 610 and MAS 649 · To liaise with external tax agent and prepare the branch’s filing for IRAS corporate tax reporting · To prepare routine head office reports, including reports for submission to Taiwan regulatory authorities · Liaise with internal and external auditors and to prepare audit schedules as well as financial statements disclosure items · To update accounting policies and procedure manuals · Support other accounting operations such as journal input, system operations and month-end closing process · Participate in system implementation and regulatory related projects. · Support the head of department on other financial control, financial reporting, tax , regulatory and management reporting matters · Attend to any ad-hoc requests from management or regulators Job Requirements: · Degree in Accountancy, Business or ACCA equivalent qualification · Prior experience in accounting, finance or regulatory reporting is preferred. · Hands onexperience with software/applications such as AgileReporter and MS excel · Experience with large data and inter-system complexities · Good understanding of accounting policy and internal controls · Strong analytical and financial reporting skills and an excellent team player · Proficient in Microsoft office applications and able to add value to improve work process · Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
