Job Title: Façade Design Engineer / Senior Façade Designer Location: Singapore Job Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced Façade Design Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for façade design development from concept design through detailed engineering and shop drawing stages, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of façade systems, structural design principles, and local Singapore façade design practices, with the ability to support project teams throughout the design and construction process. Key Responsibilities • Develop façade design solutions from concept and preliminary design stages through detailed design and construction documentation. • Prepare façade engineering calculations, technical analyses, design reports, and supporting documentation. • Produce and review façade shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation. • Review architectural, structural, and consultant drawings to identify design conflicts, technical issues, and constructability concerns. • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and project teams on design and technical matters. • Attend design coordination meetings, technical discussions, and project review meetings as required. • Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical submissions, method statements, and material submissions. • Ensure all façade designs comply with project specifications, Singapore building regulations, and relevant industry standards. • Support project teams in resolving site-related technical issues during fabrication and installation stages. • Monitor design progress and drawing submission schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved. • Stay updated on local façade design standards, engineering practices, and industry developments.…
