Technology Architect

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Technology Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex aviation technology solutions. This role focuses on enabling seamless Passenger Service System (PSS) integration and driving scalable, cloud-based architectures that support business-critical airline operations and revenue streams. Key Responsibilities • Design end-to-end technical solutions for integration across heterogeneous PSS systems used by airline carriers • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to architect and support solutions involving Amadeus PSS and related ecosystems • Develop and implement API-led integration solutions using REST, SOAP, and industry messaging standards such as EDIFACT, XML, and JSON • Lead cloud-based integration design and deployment using AWS and Google Cloud platforms, including API management tools • Provide expertise in ancillary revenue management processes, including EMD handling, revenue accounting, and settlement flows • Engage with product owners and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs across areas such as loyalty, baggage, and ancillary services • Architect and optimize message-based integration using MQ, MATIP, and other middleware technologies • Drive independent solution design and provide technical leadership across the full delivery lifecycle Required Qualifications • Minimum 12 years of experience in technology architecture, system integration, or enterprise application design • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline • At least 5 years of experience in aviation technology integration projects • Strong expertise in API development (REST, SOAP) and data/message formats (XML, JSON, EDIFACT) • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud • Proven experience working with Amadeus PSS, including core systems (e.g., reservation, departure control, and customer management) • Deep understanding of aviation IT solutions, including PSS, loyalty, and ancillary systems Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence • Experience with logging and monitoring solutions such as Splunk • Knowledge of additional PSS platforms such as Sabre, Shares, or TROY • Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee) About the Company / Team We work with one shared purpose: to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.
