About the Role Cintra Consultancy is looking for a driven, bubbly, and personable Sales Intern to join our Business Growth team. This is a hands-on six-month internship where you will gain practical exposure to the full sales process for our media, marketing, and creative services. You will support the team in prospecting, engaging potential clients, following up on leads, preparing proposals, and moving opportunities through the sales pipeline. You will work alongside experienced team members, communicate with real prospects and clients, and build practical skills in lead generation, pitching, sales communication, relationship management, and negotiation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is motivated by targets, and is interested in pursuing a career in sales, business development, or client relationship management. What You’ll Do Lead Generation and Prospecting Research and identify potential clients who may benefit from Cintra’s services. Conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients through phone calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Engage and follow up with inbound enquiries and company-generated leads. Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, challenges, budgets, and timelines. Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospective clients to move opportunities forward. Support lead nurturing and relationship-building activities. Sales and Client Engagement Introduce Cintra’s media, marketing, creative, and digital services to prospective clients. Conduct or support sales calls, online meetings, pitches, and service presentations. Ask relevant questions to understand each prospect’s requirements and business objectives. Recommend suitable services and solutions based on the prospect’s needs. Assist in handling basic sales objections and client questions. Support the team in maintaining positive relationships with prospects and existing clients. Attend networking sessions, meetings, or industry events where required. Proposals and Sales Support Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, pitch decks, service scopes, and presentations. Coordinate with internal teams to obtain the information required for proposals and costings. Follow up with prospects after proposals and quotations have been sent. Support the team in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and documenting follow-up actions. Help ensure that sales documents and client information are complete, accurate, and properly organised. Sales Operations and Reporting Maintain accurate and updated lead, prospect, and customer records. Update the company’s sales pipeline, customer relationship management system, and tracking sheets. Track outreach activities, follow-ups, meetings, proposals, and opportunity statuses. Assist in preparing sales reports and pipeline updates. Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify potential opportunities. Work closely with the Business Growth team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Perform other sales, business development, client engagement, and project-related duties assigned by management. What We’re Looking For Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Good interpersonal skills with a positive and confident attitude. Comfortable initiating conversations with new people and prospective clients. Comfortable communicating through phone calls, online meetings, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email. Confident in presenting ideas, services, and recommendations. Persistent and comfortable following up with prospects professionally. Willing to learn how to handle objections, negotiate, and move opportunities towards closing. Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable targets and results. Organised and able to manage multiple leads, conversations, and follow-up tasks. Able to learn and adapt in a fast-paced agency environment. A genuine interest in sales, business development, entrepreneurship, media, or marketing. Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the wider team. Previous sales, customer service, events, retail, telemarketing, or client-facing experience is an advantage but not required.
