Chemical Tanker Operations & Demurrage Specialist

Are you an experienced Chemical Tanker Operator with strong expertise in demurrage and post-fixture operations ? We're partnering with a global petrochemical trading company to recruit a Chemical Tanker Operations & Demurrage Specialist based in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global trading environment where you'll take ownership of end-to-end tanker operations while managing laytime calculations, demurrage claims, and voyage execution across Asia. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end post-fixture operations for bulk chemical tanker shipments. Review SOFs, NORs and laytime documentation. Prepare and negotiate demurrage and despatch claims. Coordinate with shipowners, charterers, agents and surveyors to ensure smooth voyage execution. Partner closely with the trading team to minimise operational risks and protect commercial margins. Requirements 5+ years' experience in Chemical tanker operations or post-fixture operations. *Experience in clean petroleum/product tanker operations will also be considered Proven experience handling demurrage claims independently. Strong understanding of charter parties, laytime and demurrage. Confident liaising with owners, charterers and external stakeholders in a fast-paced commercial environment.
