Support the evaluation of futures, swaps, hedging considerations and other market tools where relevant to fuel procurement strategy. Negotiate commercial terms, bunker supply agreements and term contracts with suppliers, traders and service providers. Manage supplier relationships, performance, coverage and compliance across key bunkering locations. Identify alternative bunker ports and supply options to improve cost competitiveness and supply resilience. Work closely with fleet operations, finance, sustainability and technical teams to align fuel strategy with business needs. Provide senior management with regular updates on market trends, procurement performance, pricing exposure, risks and cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with IMO, regional environmental requirements and internal procurement standards. Requirements Proven experience in marine fuels, bunkering, bunker trading, fuel procurement or related shipping/energy markets. Strong understanding of bunker pricing, fuel supply chains, global bunker markets and commercial trading dynamics. Exposure to fuel futures, swaps, hedging or price risk management would be highly advantageous. Proven experience negotiating with bunker suppliers, traders, oil majors or fuel service providers. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, supply reliability, compliance and operational requirements. Good understanding of marine fuel quality, bunker claims, regulatory requirements and the evolving decarbonisation landscape. Experience supporting a global fleet, shipowner, operator, bunker trader, energy major or marine fuel supplier would be highly relevant. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a marine fuels professional with strong trading and procurement exposure to take on a global role with a well-established international shipping organisation.
