Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager Salary: S$5,000 and above Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage the procurement department and purchasing team. Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency. Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery. Oversee purchasing activities for ACMV, HVAC, metal ducting, construction materials, mechanical equipment, and related products. Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials for ongoing projects. Review and approve purchase orders, supplier contracts, and procurement documentation. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate closely with project, production, warehouse, and finance teams to support project requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and procurement best practices. Prepare procurement reports, budgets, forecasts, and management updates. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership, negotiation, and supplier management skills. Experience in construction, HVAC, ACMV, sheet metal, engineering, or metal ducting industry is highly preferred. Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
